Hey, lovelies… how is everyone holding up with the breaking news of the global pandemic of COVID-19?
I’m trying to stay calm, pray and only read news from the World Health Organisation.
Having been a regular when it comes to remote work, here are few personal tips that keep me mentally sound and productive when working from home.
- Separate your home office away from your bedroom.
- Having a shower, and actual dressing up puts me gets my mind ready for work.
- Sign on to your PC at least five minutes before your start time.
- Set a goal on the task that needs to be completed daily.
- Set boundaries and reminders to take regular breaks.
- Check-in regularly with your team members via your regular communication channel.
- If you have got a meeting, be sure to test your internet connection before the start of the meeting.
- Block out time during your downtime for self-development.
- Let natural light and air into your home.
- Listen to music or podcast to stay motivated. I created a work from home playlist
- Ensure you don’t exceed your working hours.
